that's what it's like writing missionaries!
you never know when you're going to get something in the post (yes, i can be british if i want to..) and that's the best part!
monday i got the best letter of all.
i may or may not have asked austen a question that pertained to his future plans post-mission.
(for the record, the question had nothing to do with me. it was directed at location.)
and in monday's envelope i was lucky enough to get 2 pictures, 1 normal letter, and 1 little note on a tiny separate sheet of paper.
the little note was the best part. he answered my question in much more detail than i expected, and at the very bottom it said:
"If I'm being honest... ------>"
(arrow included and everything. i then anxiously turned over the tiny piece of paper and found this..)
"I wouldn't mind having you be somewhere in these plans"
little does he know.. i've been planning this wedding for a month already! :)
14 months to go..
------------------------------------------------
funny story about monday's envelope:
one of the pictures he sent was just of a sunrise/sunset on a beach in New Caledonia, and the second i saw it i immediately said "oh i'm so jealous!"
then i flipped it over, and all he had written on the back was "be jealous."
then when i unfolded the letter, i saw that it was on a green piece of paper that had a picture of a bird all along the side. before i started reading i said "well that's cool paper."
the first line of that letter reads, "Dear Sheridan Rae, look at this cool piece of paper I found."
