i guess it's time to brag about my boyfriend again

boyfriend got a job at gigi's cupcakes.

i was maybe secretly hoping he'd bring me some when he came to visit this weekend.

and then he stepped out of the car with that beautiful green box.

best. boyfriend. ever.

my boyfriend's back..

boyfriend is home, and i couldn't be happier. 

this is what happens when my outfit is awesome but i hate the way all the pictures turned out..

this whole "style blogging" thing is a lot harder than it looks.

even when the outfit is great, you have to figure out the lighting. and the angle. and how to not make your face look dumb. well, this is what i got.

in case you were wondering, this is my go-to outfit. the combination never fails. whenever i'm having a morning where it took a little longer to do my makeup than normal and i have no idea how i'm going to put an outfit together, this is what i wear. i've been really into stripes lately. can't get enough of them! plus, i've always been a big fan of red and black together. so here it is- my "go-to-when-i-took-too-long-doing-my-makeup-and-i-have-no-idea-what-to-wear-to-work-and-i'm-having-a-bad-hair-day-and-i-just-need-to-get-out-the-door-and-away-from-all-mirrors" outfit.

it was 9:30, and then suddenly it was 10:45

i was going to go to bed early tonight.

you know, get an extra hour or two of sleep.

and suddenly i found myself looking through hundreds of blog posts on my new favorite style blog. thus, i find myself again just moments away from my normal bedtime.

but what can ya do? right?

today

i stayed home sick.

snuggled up in boyfriend's tshirt.

took a 4 hour nap in the middle of the day.

and for the first time in my life didn't feel guilty for taking a sick day.

#FAIL

i sure hope that when boyfriend gets home (and my life gets more interesting), i will somehow magically turn into a better blogger.
