(my brother)

not that i'd ever say these exact words to his face, but i love this kid more than you could ever imagine. when we were little, we fought and argued so much that our mom had to lock us up in a room together for hours at a time until we got along. one time it even got so bad that she "punished" us by making us spend one hour a day together every afternoon for a month.

we didn't know it at the time, but one day we'd grow up to be friends. and equals. we'd confide in each other. and we'd voluntarily spend time together.

it seems weird to call him my little brother when he's bigger than me, but i love this little brother more than he knows.

my mom.

my mom is my best friend and the best mom i could ever hope for. she's the most selfless and giving person i know. besides the fact that we live with my dad and brothers, we're pretty much the gilmore girls.

i can tell my mom anything. i can talk to my mom about anything. the words needed to paint the picture of how wonderful she truly is don't exist.

without my mom, i would be completely lost.

my dad.

surprisingly enough, he doesn't really look like this anymore. his hair is shorter, and his face is bald. but that's the thing about my dad.. you can get maybe one picture every five years or so. and i stole this one off his company's website.

my dad is the hardest working man i know. we may not have a mushy-gushy father/daughter relationship, but what we have works for us.

from him i've inherited my road rage, my lack of patience for stupid things, and my ability to watch the same thing over and over without getting sick of it.

and, typing this out makes me realize i should probably tell him more..

but he's a pretty great dad.
