terra has been my longest and best friend since middle school. that's almost a solid decade! now, don't get me wrong.. we don't do crazy messed up things all the time, but if we ever do.. it's with each other. and we definitely have the most messed up conversations.. by far.

day nine

a picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

this was a tough one to choose. i don't know if there really is just one person who has gotten me through the most. that being said, my twin aunts becca and jen have gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. i don't know what i would do without them. they're like aunts, moms, big sisters, and friends all rolled into one. and i love them more than words could ever express.

day eight

a picture that makes you laugh.

i don't know how old i am in this picture, but i'd guess maybe 3.
not only does it make me laugh that i apparently think i'm mr. potato head, but didn't my mom have some great hair back then?

day seven

a picture of your most prized possession.

for the record, i was going to edit this picture. but after having my computer freeze up for 30 minutes from going to the picnik website, i gave up.

yes, i still have my baby blanket. and yes, it is my most prized possession. i sleep with it every night, and it makes the world better. i would be lost without it!

i choose Chyler Leigh for the following reasons:

1. she gets to act (something i LOVE) for a living

2. while my work day consists of opening boxes and folding clothes, hers consists of spending time with roughly 50% of my tv boyfriends
3. she gets paid to kiss mcsteamy.. who is tied for my #1 tv boyfriend

day five

i know it's only day five, but this one has been the hardest so far. i had a hard time choosing one favorite memory. to be honest, i don't think i really have one FAVORITE memory. i'm gonna level with you for a second.. i can't even pick one favorite tv boyfriend.. how am i supposed to pick ONE favorite memory from my whole 20 years on the planet?

therefore, i have chosen a picture that represents a special time in my life that i've been thinking a lot about lately.

for a long while in high school, landon was not only my boyfriend, but my best friend. i never once doubted how much he loved me, and he's the only boyfriend i've ever been able to say that about.

although we've gone our separate ways, seeing him on rare occasions still always brightens my day. he will always have a special place in my heart, and i hope life treats him well :)

it's monday! normally, there would be new episodes of How I Met Your Mother, The Bachelor, AND Hawaii Five-O. but since HIMYM & Five-O were reruns tonight, the only significant part of my evening was spent watching brad navigate through worlds of drama and tears.

all i can say is.. michelle is one crazy white girl.

there is no one i could choose besides my mom. we have that Gilmore Girls thing going on.. with the exception of the fact that we live with my dad and brothers, too. we may not always agree, and we may not always get along, but my mom is my best friend.

1. i love my middle name (Rae) and sometimes wish that's what everyone called me.
2. i sing along with commercial jingles almost 98% of the time.
3. i don't have a real life boyfriend, but i DO have what i refer to as "tv boyfriends"
4. i have tried to narrow my tv boyfriends down to 1.. and i just can't. so good thing i don't have to!
5. i think Taylor Swift wrote her album Speak Now about my love life.
6. i used to believe exes could be just friends. i now believe that's total crap.
7. i wish i had a reason to dress up more often.
8. i always sing in the car.. unless i'm upset.
9. i have found a new obsession with watches.
10. i sleep with a pink teddy bear named peaches.
11. i own a solid vneck in almost every color imaginable.
12. Eat Pray Love (the movie) changed my life, but i will probably never watch it again.
13. i believe that sometimes love just isn't enough.
14. i've never had a problem that Grey's or Friends couldn't at least HELP solve. if only by numbing the pain for a while.
15. if i dine at a restaurant that serves burgers, that is what i will order 100% of the time. i don't care if you can get a burger anywhere and they're famous for something else. i'm just a burgers and fries kind of girl.

in my efforts to blog more consistently, i have decided to participate in the 60 day photo challenge. i've seen it all over the place on facebook, however i can't seem to find the entire list for all 60 days anywhere through google. and none of my "friends" have posted it.

early birthday surprise!

this is ping (austen).. one of my very best friends :)
he's currently living in Fiji while serving a mission for our church.
our weekly emails have become the best part of my sunday, and this week i got an extra surprise!

it seems like only yesterday she was three years old and jumping on me without any undies on..
